About us

Zadig S.r.l is an editorial and publishing company that focuses on communication on medicine, science, nature and the environment. Zadig works mainly in the field of medicine and public health. Our aim is to give critical and correct information, without any triumphalism or sensationalism, which are often very dangerous for this kind of information. Since its establishment in 1993, Zadig’s purpose has been to help people evaluate in a rational and balanced way the progress and meaning of biomedical sciences. This communication work looks not only at the technical aspects of medicine, but also at how it impacts morality, politics and customs. In 1999 the associate Zadig Roma was set up.

Zadig operates in four main areas, with the help of its contributors: doctors, physicians and science philosophers:

Its three partners are:

  • Roberto Satolli
    He is a doctor and a journalist; he is the president of Zadig. He has been working in the field of medical-scientific information for twenty years. He is the editor of two medical magazines, Occhio Clinico and Tempo Medico Cuore. He has a column on health issues in the magazines L’Espresso and Corriere Salute.
  • Pietro Dri
    He is a doctor and a journalist; he is the President of Zadig. He is also the editorial director of the Italian edition of the British National Formulary and Clinical Evidence. He writes articles for various newspapers about science and medicine.
  • Luca Carra
    He is a journalist and the editor of Tempo Medico. He is in charge of the areas of environment/nature and public health.
